Enlightened

What once was sullen and dark despair
Is now the song of Summer and salt in the air
Sweet Affirmations of kind like-minded strangers
Makes it easier to fight everyday's dangers
The anticipation for the smell of the first month's rain
Replaces the usual fear that courses through my veins
When the storm of life just wont give it A rest
Its Best to remember what makes life the best
