Excalibur

My Sadness comes and goes like rain

Never lingering too long.

Not like hesitant fear, nor stinging shame

But rather a melody like a song.

My Temptation starts off slow, inviting me

And takes my fragile hand

I hesitate, tempted to leave

But soon enough I cant.

I know His eyes hold only pain

cause they can’t see inside my soul

A passion nobody can tame

A passion that, while dying, dulls.

This melody is too sweet

Just before the tune rises, it falls. Perfectly.

Right?

And never reaches that key

I pray for each and every night.
