The Experience of A Mountain

A mountain compared to the girl

Towering so far above her

She swears the moon dips right below it

Hammer in one hand, chisel in the other

She moves forward on the whispers

Of those telling her she can't

The mountain turns into stone

The stone turns into a pebble

That the girl steps over with pride...

To find Everest in front blocking her path

She grins

Stands up straight

And hammers away.
