The Fear of Getting Help: Mental Illness is Real

Sat, 03/16/2019 - 18:16 -- melwu5

How do you describe something you cannot see?

Trying to explain yourself and your actions;

if you, yourself are unclear of its meaning.

How do you forgive, if can’t differentiate reality?

Trying to explain your thoughts, feelings, and worries without judgement?

How do you get help;

if you fear betrayal and thoughts that people will frame you?

You go.

You try,

and try again even after you’ve failed,

even if people don’t have faith in ‘you’

and you, yourself don’t have faith in ‘you’—

Try.

Get the help.

If money is an issue,

I’ve been there too.

Find a way.

Search for the solution:

Through friends, family, and your Google search bar.

Get Help.
