Flawless (or close enough)

Location

I am a strong believer in a good narrative- and a good ending.

With my big, hunky teeth and pizza face acne I think I was set up as an underdog-turned-hero.

Because high school was the stage, the script became way to predictable

Girl A: You have the ugliest smile, dont open your mouth up, you will scare everyone with your horse teeth

Me: Will do.

Girl B: Here horsey horsey!

Me: Please don't

Girl C: Pepporoni pizza face, you're the ugliest girl I've ever seen

Me: Enough

It was a scary time; I felt less than flawless.

Pissed of and mad at my face and body for it's faults.

Fast forward two months, a process of accepting myself.

Big teeth? Yeah, but thier my teeth.

Acne? Sure, but I will live.

In truth, I dont quite believe in FLAWLESS.

I believe in BEAUTIFUL- accepting the good and bad and everything in between

Embracing the curly hair, big teeth, acne, small boobs, great hair, long legs.

The goddamn whole package.

That's what makes you beautfiul- flawless if you must.

(:
