Flawlessly Flawed

Location

I wish that I could say I woke up on a bed of diamonds and gold,

I wish that I could say the clothes I have on arent used or a couple years old.

I wish I didnt care about what others said, the opinions of those around me,

I wish I couldnt say that those who talk to the most are those closly surrounding.

When I was11, my main man, my father was taken from me,

My mothers own personal struggles, I watched so rightously.

We all have a story that is true, but its how we choose to deal,

We all have a struggle that can consume us, but its how we choose to deal.

I am not perfect, if I said I was, I promise I told you lies,

But I have potential, I see potential in my own brown eyes.

Yes! It's clicked, i've got it, I found the key to loving you,

Its knowing that no one, yes no one can do it quite like you do.

Its knowing that life has hit you, but it's not about the fall,

It's how you pick yourself up, standing proud and tall.

I do know one thing for certain, myself I can applaud,

Because I love myself, knowing, that I am Flawlessly Flawed.
