A Fork in the Path

Location

Up the road's your future

Down the lane's your past

A decision must be made

Hurry up and make it fast

Up ahead are storm clouds

Back behinds the sun

You decide to keep on going

A challege may be fun

Along the way you lose things

But it's overall a gain

The battle scars are worth it

Not having to explain

As you keep on going

You only get more sure

Trust becomes no issue

You're no longer insecure

Ahead the path is parting

And splitting into two

This time you have no problem

Deciding what to do

Up the road's your future

Down the lane's your past

A new decision must be made

Even through it may not last
