Free ... really?

Free … Really

Satire

I won a free ticket … Let us celebrate

I can choose where to go if I pay the difference

Just around the corner is where I should stay

To pay off the free part of the price’s insistence

Now I am on the top of the world if only for a moment

My feelings and emotions lead me by the nose

There is no way of turning or even looking side-ways

For I am a real winner in my statuesque repose

I was specially chosen for this place of honor

Finally someone recognized my hidden talent

In the beginning of full speed coming admiration

That I deserve from everyone women, child and men

It is hard to be humble being so elevated

It’s hard to keep your cool when all eyes are on me

I am so glad my ego is really not inflated

As I try to be like everyone as only me they see

Wherever I go all must now follow

I’ll get my own show so I’ll be on T.V.

Then all will know that I am specially chosen

To show the entire world how to be free
