Freedom's Barge

Freedom cast's in shades of blue,

Both above and beneath the moon.

Water glisten's in the deep,

Star's twinkle, then go to sleep,

The wind disturbs the river,

The cloud's are lined with silver.

The tree's quake in the night,

The sun has just set his sight.

Those beautiful, golden morning rays,

And in the meadow, tall grass sways,

With dutiful purpose, their dance displayed.

From the blue, tumbling towers,

To the big, blue dome,

To the endless, blue seas,

Freedom only seems to me

To climb above the tree.

Freedom may go and come,

When it is here, take your sum.

For it does not like to wait,

It seems to travel with fate.

Freedom cast's in shades of blue.
