Giving up

James 2:6

But you have dishonored the poor!

Are not the rich oppressing you and

dragging you into the courts?

Giving up

Traveling to destiny at the speed of thought

Leaving all behind in lack of concentration

Giving up the free with the bondage bought

It seems so kind to know my destination

Dreams of yesterday supporting my journey

Love for self surely sets the direction

Nothing left to pay as I carry my own gurney

That somewhere truly I loaded with imperfection

With shovel in hand I will change the world

Castles in the sand I will flatten quickly

Who will understand wisdom and its pearls?

As I conquer the land a collectable place of plenty

Is it mine, is it yours or is it neither?

Who hands out the right for that hunger?

Can you find only the poor to distract “them”?

And make that not our plight any longer?
