Goldilocks the Sweet & Baby Bear the Friend

Once upon a time...

Goldilocks and Baby Bear

were great friends,

but

Momma Bear and Papa Bear

disliked Goldilocks.

She always baked cakes for them,

made flower headpieces for them,

cleaned up after herself,

and greeted everyone with a polite, "Good day!"

One day she decided to stop by without notice.

She skipped along, a cake in hand.

She picked some tulips and made them into crowns.

She arrived, but the door was open.

She peeked in, no one was home.

In she went, noticing the berry porridge.

"It'll spoil on such a hot day,"

Thinking as she put it in the fridge.

The kitchen counter looked like a tornado hit it.

"I should clean this up for them,"

Thinking as she soaked the counter with water.

Yawnnn... as she rubbed her eyes.

Walking up the cherrywood stairs,

She goes to the bedroom.

There she finds their blankets scattered.

Making their beds she thinks how pleased the Bears will be.

"All done!" She leaves the home, locking the doors.

The Bears arrive at home, five minutes after she left.

"Who took our porridge!?"

"Who's cake is this?"

"Where did these tulip crowns come from?"

"Our counter is soaked!"

"Our beds, neat!?"

"That stupid Goldilocks must've been here."

The parents complained with much spite for her.

"Stop taking her for granted!"

Baby Bear interrupted suddenly.

"All she does are nice things,

But all you do is complain!"

Baby Bear leaves the house with haste.

The parents never saw either of them again.

...that time is now past.
