Gone

Solemnly waiting for life to pass by

With my head buried between pages of rhyme

Remembering a lifetime of memories

We made

You will be gone tomorrow

And my world will be grey;

Blind to the world outside,

I sit alone and hide

If just one more moment you could have stayed

I could go on forever-

No, forever and a day.
