Grew Up

Tue, 05/28/2019 - 14:06 -- jeh4201

Shy and scared

people everwhere

roaming the halls

many faces I can’t recall

freshman year has just begun

I hope these next four years are a lot of fun

parties, drugs, drinking some

thats what all the cool kids do, but I don’t want to be dumb

I have to grow up because it’s not middle school

you need to grow up and maybe you’ll seem cool

my mom always told me to stay with my friends

because they are the ones that have you back in the end

don’t do anything you don’t want to do

Freshman, sophmore, junior and now I’m a senior too

I grew up but, didn’t act out

and I’m so proud that I can peace out

I love my family, friends and school

they thought me that drugs and drinking weren’t cool

you can grow up but don’t act out.

Be mature not a clown
