Hands

Hands can move so swift
From clenching fists to palms
And every wall can lift
In different kinds of calms
When gasps can find the ear
Of every other's heart
And palms can pull you near
And nervous eyes can dart
Perspiring chests and aching lungs
Of breaths that pain to breathe
Such passion of both mouths and tongues
And words whose truths can seethe
And bodies can do none but move
Even more so when they're two
Murmured words swear to do none but soothe
And every whispered nothing's true
Hands find necks and napes and hair
Fingers twist into said strands
Bright faces meet in steaming air
And so do wandering hands.
When hours pass in minute's time
You'd feel as if there's rush
But we don't hear the threatening chime.
For we fixate on my blush
And pounding hearts can feel so well
In the silence of the night
But we don't mind this darkening shell
For our eyes provide the light.
