Hatred

A heavy heart cries within,

Within this husk of a man.

Compassion not known,

and not known by Compassion.

Much Sadness fills this heavy heart.

Weighing down the soul,

it sinks, farther...further

into this Abyss.

Love it wished it saw,

but Love, of it, it got none.

For Hatred blocked its sight.

Hatred told it nigh.

The heart feels fire.

But that fire feels Hate.

The warmth fueled by Hate.

Heavy hearts know not Truth.

This heart, this man,

now walks heavy, now walks slow...

leaving nothing but fire.

Looking... looking... for It.
