Headache

Wed, 11/05/2014 - 08:51 -- JPB

All that is, is but a pulsing feeling,
A throbbing pain within myself,
A string of tangled emotions,
Intertwined in every fiber of my soulless being.
As though my head were to burst in a magnificent blossom of red and pink galore,
That is what I feel.
I sit back and swallow what false pride I have left,
Consume countless numbers of pills to drive away the pain,
But still nothing.
Everything remains the same,
As does my false joyful smile that captivates those very people who made me feel lost.
I can't handle them right now,
My mind conflicts with itself.
Now I must make peace out of this war,
Lay rest to differences that bring forth this headache.
