Headline

If I ruled the world I'd walk amongst the people normally and no one would know it was me And wonder who I am like i wonder when God will come back and take us away from the God Forbidden tree of fallen fruit that make no attempt to achieve a higher status of morality, That have crab in a barrel syndrome and are only satistified when they are driving their axes deeper in the tree To be the highest branch raking in all the leaves
If ruled the world we wouldn't bomb and terrorize other countries no more Look at all the countries we destroyed including ours look at how they kill our black boys And they do it with no remorse Looking for a cover up before they even check to see if he alive the lies Especially the ones that lie in their eyes
Cuz all they see is genocide Proved in our history's headlines

Headline: Beautiful Black Boys being harassed, lynched and shot
Then the police and media tryna make it look like something it's not. Like someone was endangered or scared for their life Like our beautiful black boys were all reaching in they pocket for a knife Or walking suspiciously with the intent to take a life Like it's wrong to clear your head or go to the store in the middle of the night Like they all moved to fast which gave the cop the right to play God and take a life Like he wasn't somebody's son, somebody's brother, somebody's uncle, somebody's cousin Like he didn't matter at all like nobody ever loved him
We know too many Oscar Grants and Abnar Lowimas Too Many Amadou Diallos and Trayvon Martins Too many Martin Luther King Jrs and Malcolm Xs Bottom line HEADLINE we know too many boys killed because of their skin complexion Still the victims of senseless crimes against Emmett Till Still burning like that bombimgham Sunday where they murdered our innocent Still holding on to this noose we call life like the Waco Horror where they killed Jesse Everytime we try to overcome they burn down our Black Wall Streets
