Heavy is the head the wears the crown

I waited for you

Built an armor

Barricaded my heart with bricks

Gave you alone the keys to unlock it

I was scared

You weren't

Said you would heal

Wherever I burnt

But I had no scares

Until you decided that there were

I cried

Late at night, I cried

Heavy is the head the wears the crown

You wore it well

My king

Riding in on that trojan horse

I believed every word you said

Covered in gold

You were no sheep

But you glittered in innocence

My trust now is broken

I lost the spare key

Now all there is are walls

Built so high and thick

Almost forgot they were just bricks
