"She burst into chaotic silence. Dislocated pieces danceddelicately until they hit the surface. They were greeted by soft ripples,then swallowed; conveyed to union by passagethrough the very same water she feared. She floated along.I could tell she was never much the same. I know because I saw her colorless trail." I paused uncertainly."That's what I saw in my dream. And Jo'?"You answered with your eyes."She looked just like me. I felt her die to become alive;without learning how first, how to live."
