Her

She stands in front of the mirror and gives a good look at herself. She wants to see a heart shaped face with light eyes. She wants to see a clear skinned girl with a slim figure. She wants to see everything she isn't, in herself. But she realizes, she can't. Because she has beautifully squared jawline and deep set eyes that are colored brown. She realizes her face, though not translucent as she wishes it to be, is marked with a spray of freckles atop her nose and cheekbones. Her body, though not very slim,  is very buxom. Although she realizes all of these things are hers instead, she knows that what she wants is not "the real her." She knows that who she is different from anyone she's ever seen. And that simple fact, made her smile and love that girl in the mirror.
