High School

To start was dreadful

Homework a handful

but surprisingly for everything I was grateful

now that I'm older I act like a prude

just like the previous seniors who were constantly rude.

Sadly the talk of college has become stressful

Oh what I would give to go back to the beginning of high school!

But I am glad to say I made it.

No more good laughs at my friends mistakes

strictly conversations on our college entry rates

Oh what I would give to go back to the beginning of high school!

I look back now and think "Wow how immature"

Reality is that we all were.

Right here, right now, I regret nothing

except for not taking my dad seriously.

Sometimes we all must grow up, so today this is what I'm doing.
