Is This His Destiny

C
As soon as dawn appears
holding a dirty bag beside
he turns out of his hut again
in search of a job
to satiate his poverty
Regardless of scorching sun or
torrential rains or
blowing icy wind
he never stops and neither
ever he is tired because
he has to arrange bread
for his hungry family
He is ignorant of the fact that
how inflation and deflation
influences the gestures of
the complex stock market
But he knows that
hollow promises of politicians
directionless government schemes, and
fiddling sympathy of society
can never bring him out
of the vicious circle of poverty
Only his hard work, karma and
endless efforts can make his
destiny shine with happiness
He will return empty-handed home today.
Since he still did not get any work
dark clouds of despair again
layers of uncertainty on forehead
is this his fortune
After sunset
when he returns home
he will feed his children
with fake smile on his tired face
and children too will sleep with
fake smile as if their
hunger has died down
