Honeymoon - Cross Gender Poem

Honeymoon

Sitting in this Jamaican condo

Watching my new wife slumber

Taking in each inch

After a night to last a lifetime

Listening to her steady breathing

Her eyes

 Sparkle like the sun

As they can light up the room

In the darkest of days

Her hair

So soft as my fingers caress it

Like silk

So smooth, so light

In the roughest of evenings

Her freckles

Show her natural beauty

A beauty that no amount of make up

Could measure up to

Even in the midst of a beauty pageant

Her legs

Unmoving, freshly shaved

Sleek and subtle

Flawless

Muscular but dainty

I couldn’t ask for anything better

The heart shaped mole oh her right shoulder

Making me weak at the knees

Her beauty of her life

Bound to mine to shine together

Her teeth and laugh

Held together with that gorgeous smile

Lets my heart take flight

I am the luckiest man in the world
