How does the lily bloom

How does the lily bloom in the dead of night?

Lost in the dark room, filled with fright?

Forever closed under the watchman's sight.

Waiting on its white knight.

You might stay closed under close view,

but you my darling are a lily too.

When your eyes are closed and kids are in bed,

and thoughts run wild in your head,

when your eyes flutter open,

and you stay frozen.

You my beauty bloomed tonight,

in your bed tucked in tight

avoiding everyone's harsh gaze

leaving you in a daze

You, my angel, are a lily too,

and you, my dear, have finally bloomed.
