I'll never forget how we first began

We started off sweet, then came the end

I tried my best to make you stay

Nothing I said changed your way

And it's a sad sight when love goes away

It's like trying to find a light on a rainy day

You keep reaching out a hand 

But no one's there to hold you.

So how do I say goodbye? 

When it was you all this time

Filling me up makin' me smile

Makin' me think we'd last a while

I would've given you everything

So how do I let you go?

Knowing that it's all my fault

They take me back

Praying to God for an answer
