I work all day, I work all night

This me I have become was never in my sight

A doctor, a mom, an astronaut I would say

Yet never thought I'd see the day

Taking risks and making moves

A female entrepreneur who will not lose

Class after class my inspiration grew

Solve a common problem, that answer I knew

Form an idea, create a business plan

Enter the industry like a man

Persistent and driven is what I have become

I walk to the beat of my own drum

See what I accomplished, a small business it is true

"17 year old successor" it is difficult to chew

Yet to enter as a powerhouse and earn respect

Is a girl's, no a woman's, lifelong threat

Us against them, female and male

Breaking down gender roles is a tough ship to sail

I am a leader, pushing on and on

Fueling my startup from sunset to dawn

Defeating each battle with grace

I help other business women find their place

I work all day, I work all night

This me I have become was never in my sight
