I Fall Too Quickly

Location

I fall quickly
Tumbling straight down
Into the bright blinding light,
Not a dark abyss.

I believe I know where I am going,
So I don't scream or tremble
But I fall, straight down.
Fear is not my enemy.

It's possible that I am insane
But I do it all the time.
I love falling into the light
I love the rush of adrenaline that surges through me.

I do not care to know what happens at the end,
For something keeps me from the fall
So I step back to the top and I fall
I fall straight down, only to get caught again.
