I Have Revealed Myself

I rub my eyes,

Eyeliner,

Mascara,

Streaks my face.

Makeup remover,

Wipe,

By wipe,

It disappears.

I continue,

Foundation,

Concealer,

Unveiling secrets.

Freckles of innocence,

Olive tones of warmth,

Watchful eyes,

Silent lips.

Glances at the mirror,

Reflections,

Transformations,

Asymmetrical beauty.

Blemished perfection,

Flawed elegance,

Broken euphoria.

That.

Is.

Me.
