I need a little grace,

Fri, 04/25/2014 - 13:48 -- PSpain

I need a little grace, I need a little love.

Maybe my dreams are impossible, I'll never know if I don't try.

Because being angry at the world won't get me in college,

And shutting myself off doesn't help a career.

Someone extended me a little love,  slipping me a little grace.

Life's only pointless if you want to stay where you are.

I'm the prodigal returning, I'm the clouds clearing.

I won't eat the pig slop, I see him running to greet me.

Just like this story changes me, so I want to change others.

A writer, an actor, a guy behind a camera, that's where I want to be.

We're only as good as the stories that inspire us,

I'm writing my own tale, I'm singing my own song.

I want others to see it.

They need a little grace, they need a little love.
