I was Blind.

Even though I’ve seen things that can never be understood when describing the feeling,

I am blind.

I have seen many things before realizing that I started losing my vision.

I’ve seen eclipses in the light and the dark,

Some are red and some as black as genesis.

I’ve witnessed objects in the sky,

Moving fast or slowly striding across the night.

I’ve seen miracles happen in a split of a second.

From the little of a helpful hand or the grasp of life not letting go.

I’ve watched progress of the world,

Intuitive ideation and innovation continues to grow,

Though out of the many things that I have witnessed around me,

I never look for the love of another,

I might as well enter a dark room without a light.

I see no meaning of raising my fist,

It’ll just hurt me more as I make any spills or tears

I passively try to avoid confrontation.

I never look for a solution to life’s inescapable fates,

Because I can never see them coming,

Or better yet try to prevent them and dodge true bullets.

The thing that I do see being blind is even better than what I have.

It’s the greatest view that needs no telescope

Or even intellectual thoughts

Just with an open mind and heart can one see the greatest views

That greatest view is that of the heart and mind combined in one’s action and words

The greatest view without the naked eye is not what you accomplished,

Until now I can finally see,

It’s what you have done true for yourself and others

It is what you are.
