IF WE WERE TO RUN AWAY

If we were to run away together I would take you to a place with green grass, large mountains and a river so we can wash away our past.
We would build a house with wood, nails and a freedom we don’t quite understand.
You would plant a garden growing daisies, carrots and the kind of understanding you can’t find anywhere else.
And when we have children you will knit them long sleeved sweaters so that they have a place to wear their hart.
