Ignore and ...

16 “The Spirit Himself bears witness that we are children of God”

If the Spirit in its power

bears witness with spirit mine,

that I am a child of God forever

and there is no other line.

What if I quench my spirit

and treat it like a useless rag?

Then I’ll be never knowing,

until in the grave and bagged.
