I'm finding me

As I walk through the valley
The valley of pain, struggle, and much more
As I paint this drawing that looks unreal, and makes me wonder
I'm finding me
As I go into this world learning about different things
I'm finding me
When I look up into the stars seeing the moon, and the sky
I can see me soaring way up high
I'm finding me
When I'm scared, and all alone
I'm finding me

As I listen to the rain so quiet, and so peaceful
It's like there is no one greater than god who can put sweet sound of rain on the earth, which makes me think about things
I'm finding me
When I hear laughter coming from all around me, as I don't let it get to me
I'm finding me

Finally as I look into that shattered glass
In the end I put the pieces together who I really am
You see life is not a game
It will try to get you side tracked, and out the way
Just like the devil he will try to steal, kill, and destroy you
But as long as you stay on that yellow brick road, you will find your path
It doesn't matter what the world thinks
You got it all in your hand
Everybody has to go through the stages of life to find them
And each and every day as I live
I'm finding me
Or when I hear words come from people as it hurts me
I'm finding me
Going through the trenches
Taking every battle, and being a soldier
I'm finding me

As I play that perfect symphony
I'm finding me
As I write that poem that came from my heart
I'm finding me
As I go from elementary to high school to college
I'm finding me
Seeing how my dreams finally comes to life
I'm finding me

God has a purpose for me, and all I have to do is take the seed, and for fill my dreams
The sweet awesome laugh at any moment

This is who I am
I am constantly finding me through the shards of glass
