I'm not afraid, I'm fearful

I’m not scared of falling in love.

I’m scared of falling out.

To have all my adoration

Ripped away by doubt.

I’m not afraid of falling,

As long as I don’t trip,

And show my world my dark side,

Letting my secrets slip.

I’m not afraid of touching skin.

I’m scared of combining hearts.

For if they’d break,

I could not take

Your heart beating apart.
