I'm sorry

Bombs, murder, hate, greed,

intolerance, belligerence, and vulnerability.

I'm sorry, so so sorry.

Wars that shouldn't have been, people that shouldn't have died.

Masses starving surrounded by wealth, masses suffering genecide.

I'm sorry, so so sorry.

I placed great systems in this world, but I can see now there are flaws,

mistakes in the manegerial department, especially in the laws.

I tried my hardest to provide what I could,

you've tried to maintain, as I've understood.

Fresh air that is poisoned, it's my bad really.

Islands that have moistened, i shouldn't have ignored them freely.

I cared too much about what I could make next,

that I left the world unattended,

And your cries and pleas for help,

I left suspended.

It's really my fault for leaving you alone,

trusting that you could do well on your own.

You all want to believe this is all my doing,

I didn't make your guns, I didn't start the shooting.

You're children with dangerous toys,

made from matter I strewn out carelessly,

thinking I was giving you tools for good,

I don't know exactly when it got messy.

Now I'm no cynical being,

and I will not blame you,

for turning good into evil,

what else did you have to do?

You must have been undeniably bored without slaughtering men or expanding types of sicknesses,

I should have been there to stop you in all those instances.

My duty was to babysit you, even though I thought you knew better.

I had at least hoped my children would try and stand together.

But I will give credit where credit is due,

I'm sorry, so so sorry,

that i created you.
