Impossible Love

Why do I love those who do not love me?

And those who love me, I can’t say the same?

Why did birth separate your soul from thee?

And my angel see’s nothing of their names?

Our love is heavy yet torso with hold.

Their love is physical but minds are numb.

From a heart of stone, your touch changed mine gold.

From conception to death their minds are dumb.

Through all I know our death will bring us life.

They’ll grow old and know all they’ve chased is wrong.

I won’t waste my life, as you find a wife.

I will keep waiting to find a new song.

If there’s anything taught, my life has caught.

Only when love is not sought, is it brought.
