It's easier to observe ...

Matthew 16:26

26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Questioned

Without deep connections … is it easier to observe?

Is the lack of personal feeling … then a blessing?

The path is seldom straight … with unexpected curves

as we speed along the places … made for resting.

Can observing be done … in complete silence?

Should one always keep … remarks to self?

Are we our brother’s keepers as we add up mileage

to show the lack of progress … as at times we can tell?

Who understands constructive walking on sinking sand?

Who can keep his balance … when his legs give out?

Who understands compromise when it fills one’s hand

and thinks it to be a blessing if it brings lots of clouts?

Who dreams of fame and fortune … despising the rich?

Who talks about helping others when their boat comes in?

Who walks around with blinders … greedily to pitch

their tents on other folk’s hearts to drain them from within?

Who gives confidence … while lost as a goose?

Who claims to know more in one’s own confusion?

Who tries to appear wise … with his heart on the loose

guided by his tongue … providing the illusion?
