The first day I met you I spoke up in class
I talked of Shakespeare while thinking 'wow she's got a great ass'
We met and we talked
We laughed and we stalked
Explaining our journeys through life

All the meanwhile you readied a seize
I feebly put up my walls
But with your sword of sweet beauty
And your sweet shield of courage
I couldn't hold you back at all

It became obvious that we could be more than fighting through love filled gore
So I quickly gave up the good fight
Deciding it'd be better to win the war

Now that the peace treaty has been signed
And despite this unfortunate rhyme
I'm left with a question
A question I asked the very first day
A question you must answer for me today

Will you choose to be
Or not to be
I hope that you choose to be mine
So here it goes my dear love
Will you be my valentine
