Kind Angel and Sweet Savior

The sunset, the sea, the sky
This is where you lie
An angel like you, up so high
I watch you as you fly on by

Astonished by the bright light
I began to feel something in my eye
Wanting to leave the cruel, cold night
I knew I was about to cry

You began to land
Suddenly, seeing heaven in my sight
I lend you my hand
And we fly out of the night

This is how the story ends dear
The happiness arising from the sorrow
Hearing you say “I am here”
I knew you would be there tomorrow
