A Kiss of Two Worlds.

  A kiss of two worlds

A married couple,

Soul mates at best,

Always thoughtful,

Nothing less.

He saved people at day,

She crossed spirits over at night,

She never thought she would have to deal with this fright.

A kiss of two worlds the dead and the living,

A world she's known from the very beginning.

Understanding and faithful he always stayed at her side,

Never once would he say his good-byes.

Death knocked on the door more than once for these two,

She had made it back but his life was past due.

Saving a friend who had a rifle glued to his hands,

A grieving friend and cop guarding the land,

Trying to help through grief and distress,

He shot a bullet and hoped for the best.

Shot in the heart dying but holding on for his wife,

Telling her he loved her for she was the love of his life.

The loss of her husband and grief going through,

She couldn't see her husbands spirit earth bound and blue,

"Cross over to the other side" she said with tears in her eyes,

Never wanting to leave her he vanished wanting to be alive.

An earth body free for the two,

He jumped in with nothing to lose.

His memory faded his spirit still trapped deep inside,

All he wanted was to be alive.

His wife always there trying to help him remember,

He never did not even past September.

His wife there helping others with their lives,

Sat there crying as tears filled her eyes.

Her worst fear now coming to life,

Her husband Jim would never lose strife.

Distress and sadness fogged her vision,

Trapped in a room without repetition.

Pipes burst as the water flooded the room,

Was this the end? What could she do?

Jumping in to save her with his spirit trapped inside,

A near death experience made his spirit come to life.

As life moved on another wedding was a due,

A kiss of two worlds will never come again soon.
