Land of the free?
- Land of the free and home of the brave,
- atleast that is what some may say,
- America was the opressed, then soon became the opressor,
- both sending us into waves of disaster,
- wars, natural disasters, revolutions,
- we were all secretly searching for a revelation,
- one that would wake up the nation, and shake us to the core,
- leaving us hungry for more,
- we decided on Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,
- which gave some unalienable bliss,
- the others were left hungry for more,
- which caused America to once again be plauged with war,
- Brother fighting brother, disputing over century old ideals,
- were left to be resolved over bodies lying in the fields,
- the solution, an amendment being ratified,
- giving many hope on December 6,1865
- for years my fellow Americans have been blinded by the whiteness of their skin,
- not seeing the massive sin,
- I hope one day my generation, or the future generation,
- help this here nation,
- hopefully they can get rid of the massive discrimination,
- that has for centuries divided this nation,
- we have yet to find the revelation we all have been massively craving,
- hopefully someonne finds the nation worth saving,
- we still have problems yet to solve,
- hopefully the future will allow us to evolve.
