Layers

With my layers on,

I am who everyone wants me to be.

I am smart,

I am outgoing,

I am talented.

But if you peel me back,

Layer by layer,

You'll find that

I am not smart,

I make mistakes.

You'll find that

I prefer to be alone,

in silence by myself.

You'll find that

I'm clumsy,

I try and I fail

Over and over and over.

I am not perfect,

But I am beautiful.

With or without

my layers on.
