Let's do things we wouldn't normally

Lets do things we wouldn't noramlly.
Pick up chicks by the karaoke machine and buy smoothies instead of coffee.
Bite on hard candy to accidently chomp down on our tongues and exchange gum without lifting a finger.
Why don't you kiss the pretty girls under the bridge when no one is looking
and release your sorrows on their lips so that they'll taste you in the morning.
Wear shades inside to avoid eye contact and skateboard down the halls,
wearing that shirt she picked out for you.
Kick rocks onto the neighbor's porch and make a sand castle of regret,
so beautifully bizarre,
the judges would have to give you that blue ribbon.
Lets blow smoke rings in the faces of strangers and tell the girls they look so pretty in their little skirts.
Scuff our converses to add character and sign whatever on the contract of our futures.
Tell one too many secrets and regret our words tomorrow.
Fill our livers with alcohol and our heads with imagination so three weeks from now,
this would seem much more fun than the hangover we are expecting tomorrow.
Grab her by her waist and make her feel like she's significant but don't forget her name.
Take her to the back and play with her hair.
Today we've got both parents, the moon and the sun. You've become a man in front of the 7/11
don't forget the minutes she had you.
Turn the music up loud and turn in a private neighborhood.
Walk in a straight line tomorrow because tonight our rulers are curved.
Cover the ground in a rainbow.
Let it spill from you insides.
Tell no one what she told you, but don't forget her name.
Tell the sky your past, she's listening.
Tell your mom and dad.
Tell your new friends and hug them goodbye when you've finished.
Lets do things we wouldn't do normally,
sit by the fire of blazing textbooks and tell ghost stories we've all heard before.
Cross your toes in your shoes and hope tonight isn't the night big foot comes out to feast.
Don't break those glasses man, you've got your days numbered on the likert scale.
Tell her that you'll miss her and take that number down, but whatever you do, don't forget her name.
