Why should I care if no one is there,
I'm aware that something has been missing,
If I knew what it was would I be reminiscing,
What’s to say all of this is real,
Just cause I can see, taste, hear, smell and feel,
Is that all it takes to win an appeal,
I’m still waiting for this movie called LIFE to run out of film,
Looking for the director to yell out CUT and STOP,
Wondering if they’re going to fill the stage with more props,
Nothing happens so you realize life’s not a movie but perhaps a game,
You think you got it all figured out but it’s not the same,
The law is the rules and the dice start rolling your spaces when you step outside,
You can lose by dying – Win if you reach the end and quit by suicide,
Watch out for other players though they’re still playing all the time,
Make sure you stand out DON”T get pushed to side,
Some people go out to play while other’s hide inside,
Be careful what you do in this game… you only get one life,
Some will get the hang of it and race straight to the end,
While other’s are closer to losing with every turn they spend,
Cheating is possible just don’t get CAUGHT,
Or in a jail cell you will sit for years to rot,
You’ll be put back a few spaces or forced to start over again,
I’m new to the game but I plan to WIN,
If I find what I have been missing I’ll beat it in five years,
Instead of ten…
