Lighthouse Man

Waves crashing into me,

I can’t see straight.

Steering my boat

I have no luck.

More waves come over

until I can no longer see.

Then a glimmer of hope

shines through the dark.

This beam gives guidance

when all dreams of being safe have vanished.

When I could no longer see

and all my hope was gone,

you shined your light.

You rescued me.

Shore ahead, you guide me safely.
