Lingua Franca

Poetry, official language of the heart, Is the heart’s truth with fluff, The marshmallow stuff. Each thought that took blood and sweat vacate without pain but with a sweet and satisfying taste Each formation of words become revelations that live on the white pages. The kind of revelations that can creep up on you like the darkness of the vanishing sun or Hit you with a forceful blow.
