Listen

Not even the widest eyes can see

Maybe it was meant to be

Drowning in cold misery

So deep down was she

Crying, "Please help me."

But no one ever came

Her hollow heart was the same

Waiting to be filled by a warm call of her name

Too much pain to contain

Was she to be blamed?

Not a soul would go near

So deadly they feared

She asked for a chance but they would not hear

And again it appeared

A sad, lonely tear.
