School is one of the most misunderstood things

Looked up to as the educator

But it truth it is a babysitter of feared deliquency

Of itself brings forth no scholars

The best teacher doesn't get through the planned lesson

The best teacher first slows down and is taught

What the students are interested in through discussion

And finally dispenses the knowledge sought.

What I'd like to see changed is the attitude

Expectation and understanding

Of pursuits that widen the creative latitude

Teachers, listening is learning.
