Loin's Den

Lion’s den

I am sitting in the den

And there are open wounds on my chest and arms

The lions smell the blood, they will soon be here

I bleed red, white and blue

I bleed patience and equality

I bleed humility and honesty

I bleed protection and justice

I bleed for equality for all people

I bleed and here I sit in the lion’s den

I bled for your rights and there you are holding the knife

My blood is on your hands

You cut me into pieces

As I sit here defending you

You call me egocentric

You spill hate from your lips

You say that I am the hateful one because of a difference in opinion

You curse into the ground

And I do not say a word

You slam me into a pillar of lies and hold me there by conjecture

I am broken, lost in your hate

You love to hate me

You hate me in every single way

You want me to be torn to shred for you gratification

So you can bathe in my blood

Its fine cause you know no matter what you do

I forgive you anyway,

No matter what, I will always be there for you

Love concurs all forever and always.
