Lonely Story

I think about that night,
Laying so close to me.
Close enough to hold you tight,
A well wanted reality.
The ripples of your heartbeat,
Consume my very soul.
The moments when our eyes meet,
Take their lovely toll.
Each beating of my heart,
Pounds like an earthquake.
Every little moment apart,
What is left at stake?
I want to tell you so much,
But I want you to want this too.
When you're close enough to touch,
All my world just melts around you.
Laying here, I'm dead,
Feeling all alone.
I want you here instead,
With your voice's magical tone.
I wish I could show,
What I really feel.
I want us to grow,
Will you make this real?
You're the life I want to live,
You're the one who holds it all.
The story I want to give,
Do you see me as I fall?
Your name is all that I can say,
To remind why I try.
Love is fresh everyday,
Till we wave goodbye.
